Well lets get soldiering! :)        No, wait!!
I almost forgot.  Before you turn the board over it is a good idea to turn it up on it's side at an angle.  You can use your fingers or needle nose pliers but will need to slightly bend one lead from each component right at the base.   This will keep them from falling out when you turn the board over to work and start soldiering!

When I soldiered these I put the iron on the edge of the wire next to the board for about a second or two and then touched a bit of soldier to the tip and wire.  Just enough to pool a small drop and then I hold the tip in the solder for 3 seconds and release.  You should have a nice shiny drop! :)

When your done go back and check every spot to make sure everything looks okay!

Viola!  The soldering on the components is all done and neatly trimmed!  It's sitting on top of the Altoids can than I was going to put it in.  I changed my mind though and stuck it in something different as you will see :)

The first thing I wanted to get out of the way as far as wiring went was the antenna.  I used some wire from an old microphone that was shielded.  I had originally planned to twist the two inner wires together and use them as one and the 'wrap around' wire as the other wire but changed my mind and only used the red and white wire and just clipped the other wire short.  I also wound up drilling the holes out a bit larger on the board for these to.  Actually a bit TOO larger but it still worked out ok.

Just adding in the rest of the wiring.  You can see how sloppy I got both with the drill and with my soldiering in the middle shot!  hehehe.  I just kept making a bigger mess!!   In the right shot I taped up the base of the antenna wire to keep it from touching other parts.

Well here it is!  Wired and ready to go :)  Next step will be putting it in it's new home! :)
