Pointless...

If... if I were only a thought would I really exist?  This is a good question.  Now that concept may seem odd to you but it does really have a bit of reasoning behind it.

We, as human beings, give such power and strength to simple thoughts that they seem to become tangible objects to us.  They seem so real that the thought itself becomes more real than a physical object in the same room as the person having the thought.

The truth of it is that more often than not the concept of the thought is so all encompassing that one is disappointed if the thought becomes reality.  We are disappointed.  It falls short.  If the thought is even achievable.  More often than not it isn't.

Yet we keep hoping.  Dreaming.

Yet there are times that you think, 'why bother'?  Why put myself through this misery in the small hope that this thought will ever become reality when I know that it will most likely not?

The though or dream has such slim hopes for success that we put ourselves through much for naught.  ...but we keep hoping, thinking, dreaming and every once in a great while....
